I created this cartoon for Martin Leeuwis' aviation cartoon anthology, "Going Up, Sir!". This cartoon may not make sense to someone outside of the general aviation community. It is a caricature of legendary aircraft designer, Burt Rutan, checking his mail. Burt has a reputation for designing unconventional looking airplanes (like Spaceship One), which is echoed by the strangely shaped mailbox. The original pen and ink version of this is hanging on Burt's wall.
